Attack on man after he reveals his Muslim name

An incident took place in Gowliguda Kaman where a Muslim man was attacked after revealing his Muslim name. Nawaz was driving a Tata Ace when he was stopped by three assailants who were intoxicated. They asked his name and when they got to know that he’s a Muslim, they started thrashing him saying ‘He’s a Muslim’. His vehicle was also damaged by the attackers. Nobody came to his rescue while he tried to flee and was being chased. The police arrived on the scene and took Nawaz to Osmania General Hospital for treatment. An FIR was registered at Mangalhat Police Station. If the police had not arrived on time, he would have died on the spot.
