Christian man murdered for his faith in Jharkhand

On 7th June 2020, Kande Mudu was praying along with his wife when he heard loud banging on their front door asking him to come outside. When Kande Mudu protested and refused to open his door those goons broke his door and dragged him outside. After that, they physically assaulted him and finally slit his throat with sharp objects that they were carrying with them. While the ongoing of the assault his wife pleaded with the attackers and neighboring villagers but none came to their rescue. An FIR has been filed to start the investigation against the possible perpetrators until now there hasn't been any arrest. Kande Mudu used to receive threats and backlash from the local community after he converted to Christianity. His family was attacked previously in 2018 where his mother-in-law was gang-raped.
