A Muslim man was assaulted by the members of Shiv Sena and dragged out of the hotel. The man, Padu Khan, checked in the hotel with a middle aged Hindu woman. Later her relatives got to know about it and said to the owner that they would address the issue among themselves. Then he was dragged out by the mob and they could hear the chants of Jai Shri Ram. Had the police not interfered on time, he would’ve been lynched.
