Shaukat Ali was heckled and trashed by a mob for alleged sale of beef, although the selling of beef is not completely banned in the state. The mob first lynched Shaukat while hurling abuses at him, he was even asked if he was “Bangladeshi” and whether his name is in the NRC list. While he was pleading to let go the mob forced him to eat pork knowing about his muslim identity. Police have filed 2 separate cases and started an investigation to nab the accused
