3 men were stop in their vehicle and assaulted. A vigilante group was responsible for this attack because of the alleged assumption that these men were carrying cow meat. Later the meat was sent for testing by the authorities. One of the victims confessed that the meat was buffalo meat. The perpetrators tried to set the vehicle on fire to increase damage but police got there on time and controlled the situation. After rescuing the 3 victims from the mob, they were arrested for meat smuggling since cow and buffalo slaughter is banned in the state.
