Around 200 Madarsa students detained

196 students along with their faculty were traveling in the train when they were stopped. These people were taken into detention by the railway Police and held there for over 5 hours. The authorities asked for identity verification, such as IDs etc because they suspected that these kids, from ages of 9-19 were being trafficked across the country. The police got to this point due to a whatsapp message being circulated saying that these children were being trafficked for religious conversion. Such manufactored rumours led the police to investigate the muslim madrasa students more.
