According to Dr. Siddiqui, between 1 and 5 PM, 400 to 500 members of the ABVP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal demonstrated in front of the institute. They urged him to reassure them that BFIT will remove all Kashmiri pupils. Siddiqui made an effort to illustrate how dismissing students in the middle of their academic careers would harm their professional prospects. Finally, he had to officially state in writing that we will not accept any Kashmiri students for the upcoming session in consideration of the security of the Kashmiri students
