Muslims arrested for offering afternoon prayer

On February 16, Muslims in Talekhan hamlet, Lingsugur Tehsil, Raichur District, Karnataka, were assembled for the afternoon Jummah namaz when RSS militants barged in, battered the worshippers, and chased them away. The miscreants then set fire to the mosque's prayer mats, green flags from the nearby dargah, wall posters of the Kaaba, and other items. They even physically assaulted several of the locals who attempted to stop them before complaining to the police that they were chanting pro-Pakistani slogans and celebrating the Pulwama bombing
