A Muslim couple was taken to the police station in the middle of the night. The girl was a convert from Hinduism to Islam. She had married a Muslim man. The police allegedly assaulted the couple and pressurised the woman to register a case of kidnapping and force abduction against her husband. The family of the girl had no complaints regarding the conversion of the religion of their daughter. The police made her falsely claim in the court against her husband. After that, her husband was put into the jail. The police also wanted the woman to convert back to Hinduism
