Communal violence broke out at Hathin, Haryana. The members of the Ram Sena demolished the walls of a mosque. Then they also looted and burnt about 3 dozen shops and the houses of the Muslisms. Even the vehicles were not spared including the vehicle of the District Magistrate. Curfew was imposed in the area. Police booked 300 unknown persons under different sections of the IPC. Black Cat Commandos were deployed too along with heavy police force.
