7 Muslim men assaulted, stripped by Gau rakshaks

7 men were transporting cows illegally in a truck. They did not stop at the barrier and was driving close to the mob to scare them away. Four people jumped out of the truck and two of them were assaulted by the mob. One of them, the driver, was stripped and beaten by another section of the mob. The fourth man escaped. The 3 men still in the truck were arrested and taken to safety. Police arrested all 7 of the men. Police even arrested 2 assaulters from the mob for taking the law in their hands. The news of 4 dead calves had made the mob angry. The police were seeking to arrest others and they had booked 6 more people for the assault.
