Waseem was attacked by cow vigilantes. The incident happened in Sohna, Haryana. The three men attacked Waseem while one filmed the incident. He was attacked for carrying beef. They also clicked photographs with the victim. Then they handed him over to the police station. The police lodged an FIR against Waseem. No FIR was lodged against the cow vigilantes.
