The police in UP raided a beef shop and arrested two Muslim persons. They accused them of selling cow meat. The locals of the area staged a protest in fronty of the Kotwali police station. Police lathi charged the protestors. Afterwards, there was a protest in the market for the alleged arrest of the two innocent men. The meat found in the meat shop was ent to forensic lab. It turned out to be buffalo meat and not cow meat. Seeing the report, the police let the duo go away with the meat.
