A youth assaulted by a group

A Muslim student, Harshad, was returning home from annual day programme. He was waylaid by two youths on a motorcycle. They asked him the whereabouts of a youth which Harshad refused to say. Later, when he parked his bike near a bakery at Kallianpur, those two youth came back along with others and assaulted him. A complaint was filed at Udupi police station. Two people were arrested under the section 307 of the IPC.
