Two Muslim men were assaulted by members of Sangh Parivar. They were carrying two cattle in their pick-up truck. The members of the Sangh Parivar also fired an air gun and damaged the windshield of theor pick-up truck. They were accused of stealing cows while the cattle was being taken for farming. The injured were taken to the Mangaluru hospital. A case was registered in the Madikeri rural police station.
