Muslim family house attacked over beef rumours

A Muslim man’s house was attacked by a mob in Muzaffarnagar. A mob of around 100 people attacked the house and vandalized it. They heard a rumour that the victim, Zeeshan, had slaughtered a cow after traces of blood was found near his house. Zeeshan fled away with his wife and cousins before the mob arrived. Later he a was arrested by the police. An FIR was also filed by the police against his wife and his two cousins under the Uttar Pradesh Cow Prevention Act. No action was taken against the mob who attacked on the house.
