A communal violence broke out in Hyderabad. The flag of the Sikhs was found burnt down by some miscreants. The Sikhs came in big numbers with swords and kirpan and confronted the Muslims. They torched the Muslim vehicles and houses. Rapid Action Force and Border Security Force were deployed. Soon Muslims came out in numbers and started pelting stones at the Sikhs. The Hyderabad police told the BSF to open fire at the Muslims to control the situation. 3 people died and more than a dozen people got injured from gunshots and stabs. All the victims were Muslims
