A Muslim man and his son was lynched by a mob. The incident happened in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. A mob of 200 men barged into the house of Akhlaq. They dragged him and his son outside and thrashed him badly. The man died while the son was critically injured. They even injured the mother of the man. They attacked his house over the rumour that he is storing and consuming beef in his house. The family later said they don’t want to live in the village anymore. The house was ransacked too. Police arrested six peple. The main accused is reported to be the son of a BJP member.
