Muslim homeguard denied to offer namaz

When a Muslim house guard from the Goshamahal police station was prevented from praying on Friday, an incidence of purported police prejudice came to light. Sources claim that traffic police officer Mohammed Asad's house guard at the GoshaMahal traffic police station asked officers Mahesh and Krishna for permission to say Friday prayer, but they turned him down. Asad, the home guard, was instructed to pray at home. Home guard Asad vehemently responded to the officers' communal attitude and claimed that certain people are attempting to give the required prayer a communal angle. He said that the authorities forbade him from praying at a masjid.
