A 13-year-old girl from the nomadic Bakarwal community who belongs to Jammu and Kashmir was raped in the Ramban district in yet another horrifying case of brutality against women. This horrific rape and murder of a little girl is from the same neighbourhood where Kathua happened just over a year ago. The accused raped her when she went to graze the cattle. she decided to inform someone about being raped when the 13-year-old girl realised she was three months pregnant. The young girl was forced to have an abortion. The pregnancy, according to the Jammu hospital's medical staff, posed a threat to her life. The victim's father claimed that the men raped and beat her until she passed out. She said to us that she went unconscious. The teen's father said, “She told us that she pleaded before them, but they beat her up and one of them raped her till she lost consciousness. She doesn’t how many times she was raped,” Additionally, he said that the girl was approached in the adjacent woods and later threatened with death if she revealed any details of the encounter.
