Muslim man beaten for attempting to marry Hindu

A Muslim man was beaten up by right wing Hindutva members for wanting to marry a woman of the Hindu faith. The Muslim man and the Hindu girl work in the same company. They fell in love and decided to get married in a court when their parents didn’t agree on the marriage. When they were in the court, a crowd barged in and started scuffling with the man. The police reached the spot in a few minutes and then took the couple to Sihani Gate police station. The couple didn’t want to register any complaint but the officer registered the complaint in his own name against the unknown persons.
