A mob of Hindu men attacked two men who were transporting cows on Kota Highway. The two men were Praveen Tiwari, the owner and Ahmed Ali, the truck driver. The incident took place on a toll plaza where the toll plaza workers suspected them of taking cows for slaughter. Later more people joined and about 40 people were beating these two. Tiwari said to them that he’s a Brahman and these cows are for the dairy purposes. But they did not listen and thrashed them both. Police arrived at the scene and arrested 5 toll plaza workers. Tiwari and Ahmed were taken to a hospital in Kota for treatment.
