Violence broke out in Shajapur in Madhya Pradesh during Maharana Pratap Jayanti. The procession of the Rajput community was passing through a Muslim area. The Muslims told them to decrease the volume. The Rajputs didn’t decrease the volume and some Muslims pelted stones on the people passing. THis turned into a violent scene and many vehicles were set ablaze too. Police had to impose section 144 in the area. 12 people were arrested.
