Five men were beaten on suspicion of carrying beef

Five people were beaten up by cow vigilantes near Faridabad. They were accused of carrying beef. Azad, the autorickshaw driver accompanied by Sonu, a minor, was carrying buffalo meat to a shop. They were stopped by 6 men in a car who accused them of beef. They were taken to Bajri village where Azad was beaten by about 40 men. He passed out for two hours. The mob was still there and they forced him to say ‘Jai Hanuman’ and ‘Jai Gau Mata’. He refused. He called his brother and relatives but they were beaten up too. Three people were arrested by the cops.
