Cattle trader were beaten in Assam

Cattle traders were attacked by a mob during transportation. Despite having relevant paperwork and permissions with them the cow protection vigilantes attacked and physically assaulted them. The drivers and helpers both were assaulted. No action by the police was taken as the victims did not provide statements of the attack
